About Mark

Mark Miller is a musician, singer and songwriter who grew up absorbing all the musical influences Philadelphia had to offer during the 60’s and 70’s.  Those influences included everything from the Philadelphia Folk Festival and the local coffee house scene to the great hits of Gamble & Huff. Like so many young musicians with a guitar, his musical world went into high gear with the music of the “British Invasion” and all the great songs by American artists like Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty.

From his early years playing in rock bands throughout PA, NJ and NY he came to realize that great music always starts with a great song. That is why his goal as a songwriter is to write songs that move and inspire us all, covering a range of human emotions from love songs to social issues. That goal is always the same whether he is writing for film and TV or simply writing whatever inspires him. Mark now lives in the San Francisco Bay area.
